Our method for comparing vendors
We base every fact in our tables on a company's own site or a public profile we read and saved; the page address sits beside it. What appears here is just what each company says, stated in the company's own words.
Each quarter we go back through every company's pages, and a row gets updated the moment a company changes what it states.
The companies, platforms and prices we compare
- 15 annotation companies, each with its home base, the files it labels, its stated security, its listed price and any trial or minimum.
- 7 labeling platforms, each with its licence, hosting, supported files and cost.
- 11 label types, each shown with price ranges published by vendors and benchmark studies.
The way the cost estimate works
Your label count is multiplied by the published price ranges for each label type to produce the estimate. It is a planning range, not a price quote.
Our income
A vendor may pay us after receiving a brief or winning a project through it. The facts in our tables are never affected by that. As a lead generator, we pass any brief you send to up to three vendors.
