Privacy notice
Quill Vendor Index Inc. runs dataannotationservices.io. We set out the personal data in a brief, how we use it, which companies see it and the ways you can control it.
Data we collect
- Everything you enter in the brief form: name, company, work email, volume, data types, project notes and timing.
- For security, our host stores logs showing browser type, IP address, request time and the page requested.
- The cost estimate keeps your selections only inside local storage in your own browser.
Our uses for your data
We send your brief to suitable annotation vendors, answer you, protect the site and study which pages help visitors.
Companies that see your brief
For each brief, no more than three vendors for data annotation and labeling may receive it. The companies that host and store our data also receive it, and authorities do when the law requires. A vendor may pay us for a brief; California and a few other states treat that paid hand-off as a personal-data sale.
Cookies
Our site sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party scripts.
Keeping your data
After we last hear from you, briefs stay with us for 24 months at most. Server logs are held for 90 days at most.
Your rights
You may live in Texas, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or another state that has a consumer privacy law. If so, you may ask what details we hold about you, get a copy, fix them or have them erased. To keep your details away from vendors, follow the steps on the Do Not Sell or Share page. Making any of these requests won't affect the service you get from us. Add Privacy to the brief form notes; confirmation comes within 10 working days and a complete answer follows in 45 days or less.
Children
This site serves companies that buy labeling work. We don't aim it at anyone under 16 and we don't set out to collect data about them.
